Screen printing and DTF
are two different methods of printing on fabric.
Screen printing is a traditional method that involves creating a stencil on a mesh screen and then forcing ink through the stencil onto the fabric. This method allows for intricate designs and can be used on a variety of fabrics. It is often used for printing t-shirts, posters, and other fabric-based items.
DFT, on the other hand, is a digital printing method that involves directly printing the design onto the film using specialized printers. This method allows for high-resolution prints and intricate designs, with the added benefit of being able to print multiple colors without the need for separate screens. DFT is often used for custom fabric printing, such as creating unique patterns or designs on textiles and fast turnaround time.
Both methods have their own advantages and can be used for different purposes. Screen printing is more suitable for large volume production and when specific colors need to be matched, while DFF is more suitable for small quantity orders and when high-resolution prints are desired.
